A long list of books with sapphic relationships coming out in 2018! If you want me to include a book you can message me about it, but be sure to send books that fit into this list. Middle Grade, Young Adult, New Adult, and Adult indicate only the age of the characters. Let me know of any mistakes.
what if the boy who lived was the girl who lived? scruffy tomboy harriet “call me Harry” potter, getting extra rubbish from the Dursleys both from being a girl and being the wrong kind of girl
and absolutely nothing in the entire 7-book series changes except for pronouns. because girls can be brave and imperfect and angry and sulky and loud just like boys can.
(except a girl harry would room with Hermione Granger and the Patil twins instead of Ron and Sean, but that’s literally the only thing I can think of that might change)
absolutely nothing whatsoever changes with regards to Ginny. except that in addition to “why doesn’t Harry notice me as more than a chum,” she grumbles, “why hasn’t Harry managed to realize that CHO IS STRAIGHT”
IF this becomes a popular text post, this is how I want to be remembered
i couldnt help it
changing dorms would change a lot actually. :
(aka i express howo much i love this post through comic s)
i’m totally down with this post
except
“but Harriet would room with Hermione Granger and the Patil twins instead of Ron and Sean”
who the fuck is sean
obviously dean and seamus. combined into one. one whole sean.
So like, in the Incredibles universe we know that baby supers begin displaying powers at an extremely young age, hence why Jack-Jack is a literal baby and is a “late bloomer”. And like I think people have already thought of the obvious comedy of Dash as a baby, but imagine Violet.
You’re first time parents and your baby just /disappears/ sometimes.
Your baby puts force fields around herself to avoid eating vegetables.
Obviously her clothes don’t turn invisible, but seeing as kids have a biological urge to strip naked in public places anyway, your toddler quickly learns if she takes her clothes off she is 100% undetectable.
And then when you find her, you still have a naked child.
Imagine turning around to a pile of clothes on the floor and your child /gone/
Anyways, Violet must have been the perfect chaotic nightmare child and I love her with all my heart.
Picture a woman in pop culture. - Largely well known and respected in her field of work by professionals and fans alike. - Has a very recognizable voice. - Married. He also works in the same field. His reputation is enough to rival her own, maybe even more successful than she is. - Once suspected her husband of committing adultery. Sometimes seen as unsupportive, even by fans. His bum ass definitely doesn’t deserve her. - Three children. The oldest is a daughter named after a color (protect her). - T H I C C
The Avengers frequently lose Bucky after he officially joins the team. He goes away for hours at a time and everyone just assumes it’s best not to bother him.
The thing is, the facility has a big kitchen and Bucky’s taken to hanging out in the facility’s huge, walk-in freezer. Weirdly, cold storage is his safe space. And because Bucky’s dealt with full-on cryo, the freezer is more like a spa than a fridge. It barely feels cold, and he can hang out for quite a while before it gets hard to breathe.
No one knows where he goes until one day Sam is getting a snack. And there’s Bucky, playing solitaire and eating ice cream sandwiches next to a bulk supply of frozen vegetables.
There’s an intensely awkward minute of silent confusion as they size each other up.
Sam goes to get Steve.
Steve steps into the fridge and takes in the sight of his best friend, slightly frosted, casually playing cards by himself. “What are you doing in here, Buck?” he asks.
Bucky plays another card and shrugs. “Just chillin’.”
